What is LMS?

Learning Management System (LMS) is to host all courseware. It provides a platform to record user log, quiz result, and generate reports. Aggres.com is driven by Aggres Training Management Server (ATMS).

What is Online Training/ Web based training?

Online Training is an incredible, effective, Internet-based training solution. These online e-Learning courseware are perfect for training in your home, your office or remote locations. In fact, Aggres.com online courses are available in any location where you have Internet access.

What are the system requirements to run an online course?

Windows Vista, Windows XP or Windows 2000 based Operating System
Internal Explorer 5.5 or higher
Adobe Flash Player  6.0 or higher
Optional: Sound card is required if user prefers hearing narration.

Can anyone take an online course?

Our online training courses may open to anyone with access to Internet.  Please contact our e-Learning team customer services hotline, 2864-2400, for more details.

Where do classes take place?

Web based training can take place wherever your computer locate: at home, at work, on mobile device -- anywhere you can connect to the Internet.

When does my class meet?

Technically there are no class times. You can log onto the system whenever it is convenient for you, at any time, day or night, to take a course, or just part of a course. You don't have to be online at same set of time everyday.

Will I need to buy and learn to use complicated software?

These courses are completely web-based. Besides Flash Player plug-in, there is no additional software that you need to buy. The courses are designed for online learning and allow anyone with even basic computer skills to be taking courses in minutes.

How much time do I get to complete a course?

Start with any course you want to start with, and take as long as you need to complete the course, even take them repetitively. You may also complete the course as quickly as you want to also, or skip sections of courses where you are already proficient.

Do I need to buy a textbook?

There are no books to buy, and no instructor leaded class to attend. The available courseware is shown at the first page after login to Aggres.com.

Do I need to download a plug-in?

To study web-based courseware, it is recommended to install the Macromedia Flash MX plug-ins first. For any available video content, it is delivered via Internet Explorer built-in. Media Player 7.0 and up.

Will there be more courses available in the future?

New courses will be updated at the course curriculum page.

What is a skill assessment?

Each course may include a pre-test to let user have chance to self-evaluate proficient towards that specific topic. Each course includes a 20-Quiz, which evaluates your knowledge of the course material. The Quiz and Pre-test may only be taken once. While you may EXIT the Quiz at any time, you must complete it and submit to receive a score. The Quiz mechanism is highly customizable, which may serve as worker skill reference.

How do I see my scores?

Quiz scores is available through the View Quiz Result, which may access from Report button. Company management and administrative group can obtain individual quiz report or departmental quiz report through Report view.

How do I take a course?

After user provides login and password at Aggres.com. User may view the available courses. Clicking desired course may lead to a details table of content. Through hyperlink of each sub-chapter can access web-based course content.

Can I return directly to my last page completed the next time I login?

Every login will return to available courseware page. However, different hyperlink color code may show you have already access that specific courseware.

Can I run the courses on a Mac or other platform?

Yes, Absolutely! However, all courses require it carries Internet Explorer 5.5 or above with Flash MX Player plug-in. And application to use those downloaded file from Aggres.com.
